About me

I am Zhongqi FAN, an undergraduate student in Applied Mathematics at Beijing Normal-Hong Kong Baptist University (BNBU). My research interests include theoretical ML, selective classification.

Research

I recently completed a project on Guided Clustering-based Uncertain Learning (GCUL), a geometry-driven framework for selective classification. The work derives a theoretical feasibility criterion for when cluster-guided rejection can provide positive operational utility, and validates it on real-world emotion classification benchmarks.
